What is GMOA? Greater Manchester Orienteering Activities
Voluntary Group	GMOA is a voluntary organisation which sets up and develops Permanent Orienteering Courses in Greater Manchester and its fringe areas in conjunction with local authorities and other organisations. It relies on income from map sales and grant funding to implement its strategies.
Club Links	GMOA has strong links with local clubs whose members are heavily involved in its activities. It hopes that people who try orienteering will ultimately become involved with clubs and take part in competitive orienteering events.
Education	GMOA offers advice and staff training for educational establishments in respect of setting up orienteering for National Curriculum work and GCSE options.
